Garko received only 115 ABs, which, by comparison, is less than half what Shea Hillenbrand got in 2006. I would have liked to see him get more of a shot than that, considering the possibility of investing in him beyond 2009. I can understand the other side of the argument, and I think it is a close thing, but I still think Bochy should have stuck with him.
