I read a scouting report which questioned whether he has the experience to catch a flamethrower like Timmy yet. However another hot catching prospect Matt Wieters of the Orioles was called up after only 1 year and 2 months in the minors, and they were smart to platoon him with Greg Zaun in the beginning. I would be ok if they decide to platoon him with a good veteran catcher like Pudge Rodriquez.
