Hammond will get a look with the Giants at some point for a spot start or Sept call up, but it's hard to see him sticking around for more than that. We are ready have a lot on LHP ahead of him as starters and in the pen.

Unless Ford can raise his avg another 60 points it's hard to see him getting past single A, but at the same time you can't teach speed. So he does have a nice upside. Both players were 20-25 rated prospects for the Brewers, and IMO the Giants have a higher rated farm system.
