Giants Trade Durham To Brewers

(07-20) 16:18 PDT -- The Giants traded second baseman Ray Durham to the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday - the deal becoming final shortly after the Brewers completed a three-game sweep of the Giants. San Francisco will receive Class A outfielder Darren Ford and Triple-A left-hander Steve Hammond, a 26-year-old from Vallejo who has struggled since a promotion to Nashville. Despite an initial report that no cash would be included in the deal, the Giants will send approximately half of the $3 million remaining on Durham's salary to the Brewers.
