If the big club suffers an injury or is shorthanded at 1st base or catcher, he becomes a valuable player to have.. Did you see him play 1st base at the Futures Game? If they really want to take advantage of his bat, maybe 1st base is the better position for him because catchers take such a beating behind the plate, its tough for them to maintain a high batting average.
