i think it's very much to our benefit to find out what happens, regardless of the outcome.
if he plays every day and flops, you'd be well served in taking a look at acquiring a young-ish shortstop in the off-season. if he shows some offensive competence over another 200 AB's, you'd probably have to consider going into next season with him as your primary SS.
bottom line is that playing Vizquel isn't helping us out at all.
