...Castillo sucks, sure, but he is cheaper than Feliz and a stopgap solution. A guy like Crede would have been an upgrade but not sure he would make sense long term and certainly would have been costly to keep. Castillo is the least of the concerns and on a team that isn't planning on contending, he's fine.

I hope Durham goes soon, there have actually been rumblings that teams are interested, I hope Sabean isn't holding out for just the right deal. Dump him for anything. Same goes for Aurilia and Winn. All nice guys, but if you can anything for these players, you have to do it.

Interested to see if Sabean has the balls to move Cain. If a team really wants him, they should try to force them to take Zito as well. I'd take less in return for Cain's worth if it could mean dumping any of that contract.
