ROTATION CHANGE: Lincecum to make an extra start before the break

Manager Bruce Bochy just said he's planning to move up Tim Lincecum's next start a day. He'll go Tuesday in New York, which will allow the Giants to squeeze one more out of him before the break. (He'll also start next Sunday at Wrigley Field.)
The change means Lincecum won't be fully rested to pitch in the All-Star Game. According to sources, the Giants have learned that Arizona's Brandon Webb will be asked to start and Lincecum would be asked to pitch an inning at the most. They probably figured, "Well, if you're going to slight Timmy, we're not going to accommodate you.”
The change means Sanchez, not Lincecum, will oppose Johan Santana at Shea on Wednesday.
(Lincecum, Sanchez, Zito in NY, Cain, Correia and Lincecum at Wrigley.)
