that he wouldn't be a September call up either unless he tears up San Jose, Conn., and Fresno in quick successive fashion on a level to the dominance he is showing now. Hell, even if he does that, I don't think we see him until 2010 and probably not until Sept. 2010.
This brings up an interesting issue though... we also have Sosa, who is farther ahead than MadBum and who has also been dominant, and Alderson who is more than holding his own in San Jose. If those guys develop, Correia continues to improve, and Lowry comes back health, we're going to have a lot of talented starting pitchers.
I agree that the likely rotation if there are no moves will be Link, Cain, Sanchez, Zito, and MadBum, but if we have that much good development, it might be beneficial to trade one of the lefties. If Sanchez continues to dominate, he could bring us back some very good hitting prospects.
