i remember Ralph reitterating that at the time of the trade too.

i'm not saying it wasn't completely lucky, and a very bad trade. but given that bonser sucks, and that Liriano is probably never going to be the cy young guy we thought he would be, and that AJ P won a world series with the whitesox the next year, it's no longer the worst trade in the history of baseball, which it was close to being prior.
